Taking Part in Research

Research on the effectiveness of specific kinds of orthoses is very useful both to academics and to the general public. However, finding potential study participants can be hard for researchers. HIPAA regulations and respect for patient privacy restrict the patient information that can be shared. A manufacturer, for example, such as Cascade Dafo, Inc., cannot give the names of patients to researchers.

Here is something we can do: this feature of our website connects potential research participants directly to researchers through research requests.
